IF YOU ARE UNDER 50, PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK THAT YOU ARE ELIGIBLE BY VISITING www.nhs.uk/flujab – WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ADMINISTER FLU VACCINES TO THOSE WHO ARE ELIGIBLE.
IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO HAVE YOUR FLU VACCINE ON THE NHS WE DO OFFER A PRIVATE FLU VACCINATION SERVICE FOR £14.99
We are hoping to be able to offer Covid booster vaccines at the same time. Unfortunately, the regulations do not currently allow this & we cannot leave it any later to arrange our flu clinics. Therefore, we will update our website and also the screens that we have instore regarding the Covid booster vaccination service.
Flu vaccination provides the best protection against an unpredictable virus that infects many people each year & can cause serious illness & death. If you will be aged 50 or over on 31st March 2022, are pregnant or a carer for an elderly or disabled person, or have a qualifying long term health condition, you are eligible to receive a free NHS flu jab. For more information, please visit www.nhs.uk/flujab
Parkview Pharmacy has already purchased flu vaccines for this year. We are working with NHS England and have been given the authorization to offer Covid booster vaccinations also. All vaccinations will be supervised by a Pharmacist. Please support the pharmacy by booking your flu jab with us.
We have to purchase our flu jabs almost a year in advance to secure an early delivery date & protect our patients as early as possible, which is a significant financial risk. Thank you in anticipation of your continued support.
We are proud of how successful our flu jab campaign is every year, thanks to our staff and patients alike. Our vaccines are the most up to date ones recommended by the NHS, so offer the best protection against this condition, which still hospitalises or kills many people every year.
Vaccines help prevent illness & reduce NHS winter pressures. Thank you for helping us to help you stay well this winter.
